What does it cost?
The first 3 months the service are absolutely free with unlimited use. We provide you with a high-quality camera phone so you don't need to purchase or download anything to use our service. When you receive the phone you can start using our service right away! And after the trial period we hope you will want to continue providing parents with these invaluable memories, however, you may discontinue use with no strings attached, you just need to return the phone to us. The rates after the trial are the following:

We are not just another picture sharing service!
TRUST. While many daycare centers and preschools have open-door policies, today's busy life-style prevents many parents from taking advantage of these policies, thus missing nearly all of their child's day. There are webcam services available, but many daycare or preschool professionals are happy to choose the ConnectedDay service over installing webcams, because CCTV puts staff on edge and the footage can be misinterpreted when seen out of context. With ConnectedDay there is no need to stand by the monitor and the daycare or preschool staff is in total control of which pictures & videos are taken and shared. After all, there is no point in sharing bad or inappropriate pictures, or ones that are out of focus or repeated pictures.
HASSLE FREE. Unlike with traditional digital cameras, there is no need to trouble yourself with memory cards, wires etc. We provide a high quality camera phone as a part of our service. The daycare/preschool personnel use the phone to capture the day to day activities. The images are automatically moved to a private space, that only your daycare/preschool have access to. There you can manage the pictures by adding captions and deleting the ones that you don't want to share with parents. You can also create learning journals and yearbooks easily with only a few clicks of the mouse!
SECURE. Before starting to use the service, daycare/preschool staff will have to ask the approval from the parents to take pictures and to share them through the service. The pictures that are taken will automatically be transferred to the service. These pictures are protected by a unique ID and password so that only the daycare/preschool staff can access them. The ConnectedDay service is a secure, invitation-only picture & video diary service. It can be compared to online banking as a similar technology is used in both. Only the daycare/preschool staff and parents who have given authorisation can see the pictures & videos.
